Motion Graphic Designer

 Full time / Freelance
Essential Responsibilities:

Design and animate graphics for theatrical, television, video games and new media. Examples include: Main titles, billboards, bumpers, interstitials, bugs, ID tags, lower thirds, Digital 1 Sheets, etc.

 
 – Other graphics may include tracking in 2D and 3D, greenscreen, rotoscoping and other visual effects graphics.
 – Take direction from producers, clients and editors.
 – Follow a naming convention and workflow designed for everyone to jump from one project to the next.
 – Adjust workflow to deliver quality graphics to Offline and Online.

 

Basic Qualifications:

Post Production Coordinator

Job description:

We are seeking a Production Coordinator to join us during the post-production of a YouTube Red series. You will work with editors, artists and supervisors to ensure shots and episodes are being tracked and delivered according to established targets and milestones. This position coordinates our cross-functional team and requires effective project management skills. We look for clear communicators that demonstrate a high level organization and possess a very proactive / positive attitude.

 

Responsibilities:

– Scheduling, prioritizing and tracking internal technical assignments and project details.
– Organize dailies and project meetings.
– Organize and setup assets according to a established file structure.
– Ensure Ftrack (project management tool) statuses and task assignments are kept up to date.
– Coordinate and package shot deliveries including submission documentation.
– Ensure teams are clear on daily delivery objectives.
– Record all shot/episode notes whether from clients, dailies or reviews.
– Ensuring effective communication and continual team updates.
– Coordinating and monitoring multiple episodes effectively.

The Assistant Editor is responsible for preparing and organizing projects materials through all stages of the digital, non-linear video editing process; supporting editors, producers, coordinators and the finishing team at Chariotdrive.

 

Basic Qualifications:

–  Strong working knowledge of non linear editors, particularly Adobe Premiere and strong working knowledge of post production workflows and procedures
–  Overseeing Media, file formats, naming conventions, scripts, automation tools, automated dailies.

As part of Chariotdrive, you’ll be a key contributor to our Virtual and Augmented reality efforts. You’ll be at the forefront of conceptualizing, architecting and developing media applications. Partnering with the art and design teams to explore, and implement prototypes that set the bar for VR/AR/MR content.

 

Responsibilities:

–  Provide technical leadership around the delivery of component designs and development
–  Mentoring the team and perform code reviews
–  Collaborate with design team to define, iterate and implement new features
–  Set the technical architecture direction for the application
